In high school I would say that most of the time my teachers didn't make us write narrative papers. Most of the time we read stories and had to write essays that analyzed the text or they would give us certain topics to write about. They never gave us a chance to be able to write about what we want. In my English Composition class were writing about different topics showing more emotion and different writing styles.
On this narrative project page I will be sharing with you different blog posts that helped me write my Narrative project with drafts that go along with my writing. My narrative project will be about the time where I was living with my dad and his girlfriend and things just started to go south for me. I felt like i was singled out when it came to things and my dad wasn't speaking up about anything he just agreed with everything that she wanted. To help me write my Narrative project we did a blog post describing about the time that I went on an internship and a student gave me a bracelet that made me feel Happy and proud of what I was doing called Composing an Emotional Scene. Along with Composing an Emotional Scene we did another blog post where we were Composing an Emotional Scene with dialogue and symbolism. This blog post was about the time where I had to make a decision based off of my feelings on If I wanted to keep running track for my dad or myself. After writing my first memoir draft we had to do a post about My Narrative Project: A Wizard-of-oz Journey where we had to interpret a scene and answer questions based off of our memoir that we had already started writing in class. It allows you to go back to your rough draft and analyze it. Below I will attach my rough drafts for my memoir.
